Thursday we drove to Junction City, Oregon to pick-up our RV from the dealer. We had been told it would be ready to go and that all of the repairs were complete. We arrived around 4:30 PM and went to the campground area to unpack the truck.
Unfortunately, the repairs aren't up to snuff and we will be spending at least another day and night here. The paint job was very messy and the caulking was missing in some areas and just a big mess in others and all of that has to be done over.
Tomorrow we have to be out of the RV by 7:30 and find something to do all day. We have Grant with us and it's hot here so we'll try to find a nice park with some shade for the afternoon.
On a happier note, I can't tell you how excited I am about the very cool new fan we had installed in the bathroom. Silly, I know but it has a remote and we don't have to climb up on a step stool to reach it. It's the little things, right?
