Home Again With a Fully Repaired RV

We're finally home with the RV and it's looking brand new again.  Yesterday we spent the day killing time.  We shopped at Camping World and an RV furniture store. We hung out at a Starbucks and in a nice little park for a while.  We went back and forth to the body shop a few times to answer questions and check on progress.

They finally finished up around 5 pm and brought the RV to the campground.  The cautioned us not to touch the fresh paint and told us they would be back over at 8:30 am to take the RV away to get sealed.  Seriously, will they ever finish?  Initially they told us it would take about a week for the repairs.  It was a total of 18 days.

We settled back in and I grilled a couple of steaks and some chicken for Grant.  I made a tomato and mozzarella salad and baked some potatoes.

I did a load of laundry and we went to bed early.

This morning we went for coffee and to take a second look at a chair at Camping World and by the time we got back, they were finished.  When I went to pay the bill, I was surprised to find that they had given us a substantial discount in an attempt at service recovery.  I'm feeling significantly recovered, I must say!

We hitched up, dumped tanks and headed home.  The southbound traffic was AWFUL but we were headed north.  Things are looking up!
